writerproblem193Guess who's late to the game! I didn't see anything about this until late last night so here we go.
For whoever has me: I'm so grateful that you're putting the time and effort into making me a piece of art like this! Writing is hard and takes forever and I appreciate every second you put into it. This stuff is hard work!

With that in mind, here are my lists.
I'm a simple creature that loves people being really in love with each other without having to doubt it / their doubts are proven wrong consistently
Most of these DNW are because I want to be safe rather than sorry — there's no worse feeling than wanting to love something and not being able to because they stumbled across a squick or two.
Now into specifics!
For DS9 especially, I prefer it to stay at least vaguely within the Star Trek universe, but in-universe aus are awesome. Take advantage of all those aliens and gays in space! Discussion of Kira and Jadzia's different flavours of alienness is super fun.
For Discovery, ditto with the staying in Star Trek canon sort of area. I'm fine with discussion of Tilly's mother being awful, as long as it's not the focus of the entire fic. Mostly avoid Sarek though for Michael though, he just does not fill me with joy.
For Carmilla, I'm a lot less picky. Go wild! AU, canon divergence, the whole shebang. Ideally I'd prefer them not being broken up or breaking up though like they did in S2.
For original works, well, it's up to you! The prompts I put in the pairings list would be nice, but if you just want to write a short story of some queer gals in love as long as it lines up with my DNW, then go wild!

- I love me some secret dating "haha yeah sorry uh I'm bad at personal space that's definitely why I was practically sitting on her lap"
- Time loops! Minus "realizing you like someone because of time loop" but "oh shit I'm so in love and I can't get beyond today AHHH" is great.
- Small world building details make my heart sing!
- BANTER and SHENANIGANS are the best.
- Trust and loyalty and intimacy are my cause of death.
- I'm a huge sucker for all the "oh I get to touch them now" of just-established relationships.
- I adore when they're just. Overflowing with love. They chose to commit to that love and now they are just drowning in it.

- High school AUs / making characters younger unless we're talking Starfleet Academy.
